Every year i like to do something to support those less fortunate than ourselves.
In 2023 Myself a friend Sean Collins took on the challenge of Swimming from Jersey to France and Back again.
The swim was started by Paul just after midnight from Le Coup with lumpy conditions which eventually settled down through out the Swim. We swam for 2 hour intervals at a time, Paul’s second swim saw him pretty much get stung continuously by compass Jellyfish for 45 minutes solid. Sean landed on French soil in a time of 6 hours 54 minutes, after clearing the water he immediately retuned back in the water to head back to Jersey. We eventually landed back in Le Coup after 15 hours and 23 minutes. Paul and Sean became the 1st 2 person relay team in history to complete the 2-way relay swim, there swim was also the quickest relay swim in history for a 2-way relay.
